Woodside Estate

In 1920, venerated Bay Area architect Bernard Maybeck crafted a small hunting lodge in Woodside on a wooded knoll. Nearly destroyed by neglect and abuse over the years, the main living room was saved and restored as the centerpiece of this new 6,000 square foot home and private equestrian facility.

Warm tones and extensive timber construction pay homage to Maybeck’s original work while the separate buildings create a series of connected outdoor spaces.
